Trinity News : December 2012
Through our Term 4 unit of inquiry, The Art of Language, the Pre-Kindergarten boys have been exploring a wide variety of ways in which stories can be created and told. The boys have been listening to stories, puppet shows, felt board stories, and stories through drama and music. Throughout this unit, the boys are also encouraged to create their own stories in a variety of ways. This has been a wonderful way for the boys to express their own ideas, and to develop their communication skills and imagination. Puppets and felt boards have facilitated oral recounts of known stories, as well as an opportunity to create new stories. Boys have also enjoyed the opportunity to share stories with a friend.
