Trinity News : April 2011
TRINITY NEWS 11 In February, the Year 11 Geography classes undertook fieldwork at Bantry Bay, to the north of Sydney. In keeping with previous years, the weather was overcast, but fortunately we did not experience the torrential rain of two years ago. Various tests examined the water quality of two creeks, identifying native and exotic species of plants and animals and then determining the nature of human impact in the area. On the 7th and 10th of March, Year 8 explored the wetlands at Bicentennial Park. During the excursion, they used a range of equipment to measure various aspects of the wetlands, and spent time identifying various bird species that are found in the wetlands. | Kim Kerr Head of Geography 1 Year 11 at Bantry Bay 2 Julian Blaschka (11WH) 3 Nicholas Summers (11St) 4 Year 8 at the Wetlands 5 Year 8 at the Wetlands 6 Joshua Goldberg (11Ke) and Evan Karagiannis (11Mu) 7 Year 8 at the Wetlands 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
