Trinity News : July 2010
Is Hayden Bowles dreaming or is it a dream come true? Hayden was chosen to be one of twenty trebles selected to sing for our National Opera Company - Opera Australia. After working hard in rehearsals he was given a greater honour and asked to be one of the four treble soloists. He performed the role of Cobweb which is the treble soloist with the most work to do in the production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream directed by Baz Luhrmann. There were ten performances at the Sydney Opera House, with opening night being Thursday 18th February. Congratulations to Hayden for such a wonderful achievement. It is great to see boys from Trinity Academy of Music being recognised at a national level. The whole School is very proud of his efforts.
