William Lenard PKGO Sam Dennison PKGO Just Imagine! 3 2 2 7 Throughout Term Three Kindergarten at the Preparatory School journeyed into various lands and met all sorts of amazing characters from different fairy tales around the world. The boys worked co-operatively and independently to create puppet shows, engage in role plays, experiment with dress up clothes and participate in dramatisations of familiar fairy tales. They used their facial expressions to portray ‘Wild Things’ and designed and constructed castles from boxes and collage materials. The boys went to a performance of Mem Fox’s ‘Possum Magic’ at The Enmore Theatre. They also learned about the structure of the text types, recounts and narratives. This UOI was closely linked with English and Creative and Practical Arts. We focused on the concept of perspective, looking at the characters different views in the same story. It was fantastic to see the boys thinking creatively. So many budding actors and such great imaginations in Kindergarten! | Tamarra Glenn Kindergarten Co-ordinator 6 1 Nicholas Nikiforidis KH 2 George Andary KG 3 Justin Lin KS 4 Edward Dam, Adarsh Raj, Christopher Shahho KG 5 Vikram Bhuphatiraju and Alexander Yee KG 6 Soo Ho Yi and Justin Zhang KS 7 Edison Tran and Philip Pignataro KH 4 5 TRINITY NEWS 35
