BOOKS REVEAL THEIR CHARACTERS! The Preparatory School Art Exhibition was held from Wednesday, August 13 to Friday, August 15 this year. This was one of the many highlights of the Primary Years Trinity Arts Festival. The corridors of Llandilo were ablaze with colour. This was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creativity of the boys from Pre- Kindergarten to Year 6 and many visitors showed their appreciation by viewing our annual Art Show. The boys are to be congratulated on their enthusiasm and efforts to produce such a diverse range of delightful artwork. Jenny Harrisson and June Cornford Plenty of Pirates, a plethora of Potters a la Harry, a profusion of Pinochios, even a personnel carrier… were but a few of the multitude of characters seen at the Preparatory School Infants’ Book Parade! Sitting on the floor right down the front of the hall taking photos, I felt a little like Alice when in the court scene all the playing cards rose up and showered upon her! What a large and lovely array of characters seemed to flood past me on the stage! So much imagination and effort that had gone into the costumes were made visible in a highly entertaining parade of characters chosen by the boys from their reading. Congratulations too to Mrs Kirsten Parker for the organisation of what was a delightful presentation by our youngsters from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Two. | Ron Ogier TRINITY NEWS 33 PREPARATORY SCHOOL ART EXHIBITION
